A Blank Space

Happy Saturday to all of you. I'm just stopping by really quick this morning to post a card I was up way too late making last night..haha. It was one of those moments when you get an idea and you just have to do it now.

I knew I wanted to leave a blank space for my sentiment. I started from the top and did my first couple of rows with my Damask stamp. I then took a piece of paper and layed it over the bottom section of the card. I stamped the third row then turned the card over and did the same thing. The trick is to remember after you turn the card over...you also have to turn your stamp. Love how it turned out. I think I'll be doing this some more. And check out that beautiful ribbon. I was at our local $1.00 store the other day and found a bunch of this ribbon in some great colors. Yes...$1.00 for 6 yards. So needless to say I bought a few rolls.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today and have a great day.

Colour Q Challenge # 99

Happy Friday to all of you. I'm coming to the end of my "staycation". With the rest of the family working most of the week, I was able to get a lot of crafting done. It was nice to be able to sit down and not feel like I had to get up and do something for someone. I could really get used to this. But in order to support my hobby...aka addiction I need to work. I was able to make cards for a couple of challenges. This one is for the Colour Q Challenge. Are these yummy colours or what?

Here is my card. I've seen Laurie put these stripes on her cards and love the look it gives...so I had to give it a try.

After I die cut the flowers and stamped them I cut down between the flower petals. I gently twisted every other petal. So cute!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have wonderful day.

Time For A Little Blog Hop

Can it really be the 25th already? Seriously, where does the time go? I'm here today with my card for the PTI August Blog Hop.

Here is the inspriation photo.

Here is my take on the inspiration photo.

The first thing I saw in the photo was the back of the box. To get that look I stamped my Demask stamp with Versamark ink on Fine Linen paper.  I new I wanted to focus on those beautiful pink flowers. I just happen to get my new Bloom Builders #3 die a few days ago...perfect. I also cut some extra leaves and attached them under the flowers.

I hope you all have a blessed day.
