The super sweet Leslie asked me if I would like to join the
Seize the Birthday design team...and of course I said yes!! My plan was to slow down on crafting with my daughter's upcoming wedding. Everything is going so good that I'm still able to spend some good quality time at the Kloset. Insert happy dance here. So here I am with my first card for
Seize the Birthday. If you haven't heard of this challenge yet here is how it works. You are given a sketch and the first week you create a feminine birthday card, then the next week you use the same sketch and make a masculine birthday card. Then we start over with a new sketch. Isn't this a great idea? Think of all the birthday cards you will have on hand.
Here is my card:
I've had this pattern paper for months and figured I should probably show it some love..haha. I stamped the flowers on the pattern paper and fussy cut them. I attached one with foam tape and one without for some dimension.
Here is this week's sketch:
For the month of February The Alley Way Stamps is our sponsor. Alison at the Alley Way is also giving a prize each week. This week's prize is the stamp set "Kitchen Gadgets" and it will be sent to our winner this week, by Alison.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you can join us this week.
